The previous day had been sunny and very warm. Overnight a storm blew in and covered everything with a blanket of snow. There were so many photographers in this area that I was looking for a different composition without any people. The photograph won an honourable mention in the Nikon Photo Contest International.
Because of it's accessible road side location, Balanced Rock is one the most visited landmarks in Arches National Park.
